Veganissimo A Taste of Italy with a Plant-Based Twist by Antonio Alderuccio
First Impressions: Bold, Beautiful, and Structured with Heart
Opening the book, I was met with a bold and modern design
that sets the tone for what lies ahead. The contents are thoughtfully organised
into classic Italian sections: Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, Pizza, Bread &
Crackers, Sauces & Sides, Dolce, and a helpful Pantry guide. It’s clear
from the outset that this isn’t just another plant-based cookbook—it’s a
celebration of Italian food, reimagined for those living a gluten-free and
vegan lifestyle.
The Chef Behind the Magic: Antonio Alderuccio
Recipes That Resonate (and What I’ve Tried So Far!)
With over 75 beautifully crafted recipes, the hardest part was choosing where to start. I finally kicked things off with the gluten-free seeded crackers—crisp, wholesome, and perfect for snacking.
Then came the beluga lentil salad, which was full of earthy depth and freshness. But the one that truly won my heart was the creamy saffron and potato soup—rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. I was totally bowled over by the taste and textures in all three dishes. Honestly, I can’t wait to cook my way through the entire book!
Why This Book Belongs in Your Kitchen
Whether you’re plant-based, gluten-free, or simply a curious
foodie, Veganissimo is a cookbook that inspires. The recipes are elegant but
approachable, grounded in tradition yet entirely modern. The author’s story
adds authenticity and warmth, and each page reflects his passion for inclusive,
joyful cooking.
What I love most is that this book doesn’t feel like it’s
about what’s missing (meat, dairy, gluten)—instead, it’s about all the
beautiful things that remain and shine. The flavours, the textures, the
colours—it’s a feast in every sense.

This is high score but I really could not find any fault in
